EG Service

EG Service consists of building AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) and providing energy management system using the PLC (Power Line Communication) technology. The service enables users ① to manage electricity more efficiently by delivering real-time energy information through PLC-based smart metering system and ② to have energy efficiency improvement by balancing energy supply with transformer monitoring equipment. All the data collected through PLC will be used to create various services with 5G to transmit and process, which can be applied to Smart City to reduce carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency.

Internet Infrastructure Solution

  • It is hard to have internet connection in some regions in Korea due to its locational problem. Also, this case of difficulties are often recognized in some countries as well.

Connecting communication line among countries and regions can be achieved via construction of fiber-optic cable, exclusive wire communication system and/or establishment of base station for communication. However it requires massive up-front investments. Therefore, “PLC Data Communication Internet Infrastructure System” is considered as the most effective and efficient option of gaining internet connection by using normal electric lines.

We provides internet service from PLC technology by using existing normal electric line and facility in & out of the house. Fiber-optic cable or exclusive communication line will be wired to the bottom of transformer on the telephone post, normal electric line will be connected from house to the transformer to get web connection.​

  • The PLC communication system uses HomePlug GreenPHY Specification Ver.1.1 (HomePlug Powerline Alliance, 2012) which is one of the international standard chipset that makes quality communication ground even at long-range with maximum stability and minimum noise.
  • PLC AC Router enables web connection to in-house PLC modem, IPTV connection via LAN cable from modem as well for total internet service. 
  • Obtained experiences previously in creating stable communication connection system from BIG-CAMERA store project in Japan which includes sales, installation and operation.​
